Art Discussion combines creative expression, talking and breathwork to assist with low mood, anxiety, or trauma. It has cognitive behavioural therapy techniques embedded in the approach, and can improve self-esteem, decrease negative self-talk and teach you to be more mindful and meaningful in your actions.
An art therapy session with us looks like: choosing an art activity, then being guided to strengthen the mind, body and soul connection. This will allow you to express yourself and those hard to describe and uncomfortable to feel emotions within your artwork. It is then that you sit with the teacher, and process your art to help you both understand the feelings and discrepancies conveyed.
